Welcome to Stage Gulch Ranch!

Shayla, our breeder, grew up here on this dairy farm in Sonoma County. She always loved the ranch life, knowing one day she’d be back at the farm raising animals. What she didn’t know was that she would be raising puppies!

After obtaining her Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, Shayla hoped to find a dog to aid with her patients’ therapy. That’s when she found Noam, the love of her life; he was beyond perfect in all ways. Noam was docile, confident, loving, regal, and a best friend. Shayla started bringing him to the nursing home with her when he was four months old. The patients loved him, and the nurses and physicians couldn’t stop raving about his temperament. Shayla knew she needed to breed him to preserve his legacy, and started learning everything she could about breeding.

Since beginning the Stage Gulch breeding program, we have made it our mission to use our dogs for therapy, wherever that may be. Our hope is to one day have all of our dogs helping others, knowing the positive impact they can have on so many lives.
